Deck Railing

Three railing systems carried alongside the decking, with the panel and post sizes as published.

Stainless steel cable railing

Cable railing using non-swage fittings, taken up as a project by project system rather than a stock size.

Glass railing system

The glass system combines hardwood rail posts and cap with stainless fittings and tempered glass for the least obstructed view from a deck. It suits both new construction and retro-fits, is available in 36 and 42 inch heights, uses 3/8 inch tempered glass with bevelled edges, and the glass can be made in custom widths.

Powder coated steel railing

Built from high strength steel and powder coated, this panel system is a sturdier and more open answer than a built-up wood rail. It suits new construction and retro-fits, uses an open three rail panel, and takes optional decorative accent rings.

Post caps

Designer Rail post caps match the aluminium balusters. They are made in the United States from C1022 steel, are maintenance free, and come in four colours; the textured powder coat is low matte rather than high gloss, so the look and feel is closer to painted iron, copper and bronze. They fit 4x4 posts at 3-1/2 by 3-1/2 inches and are set with construction grade adhesive, with minor modification to the post sometimes needed depending on the species.
