Used for covered applications such as screened and covered porches. Kiln dried to mitigate further shrinking after installation. Due to the extreme density, Ipe will
not gain moisture and swell despite being kiln dried. Other suppliers offer air dried porch flooring that will shrink extensively after installation (especially 1x6).
Air dried Porch Flooring cannot be acclimated adequately to prevent shrinking including width variation and thickness. |
